Hotel Equatorial is a Malaysian hospitality chain with properties in Malaysia and Vietnam. Established in 1971, the journey started with the iconic Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur and swiftly expanded to manage many properties in Asia.
Today, the group has consolidated its operations to focus on its flagship properties in Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City. The Kuala Lumpur hotel made way for a bigger, better, all-new successor in March 2019, rising as the new EQ, a magnificent 52-storey tower in the heart of the city. By September 2019, the hotel had climbed to #1 on Tripadvisor.
